Position at OH: Board of Directors

Why I’m passionate about OH: As a previous Portland native I have always dreamed of finding a way to help those in need. After working in the pediatric community I realized that there is a gap in the healthcare system where kids with behavioral issues didn’t fit into the standard daycare setting or the medical daycare setting. At this time I knew that there had to be a solution, there had to be a way to help all kids in need.  Being a part of OH is an opportunity I could not pass up. It is going to allow me to be apart of something bigger than anything I have ever done. I am looking forward to being able to go back home, to the Portland community, and help the underserved kids who need it the most.

Ask me about: Mighty Mite Football, why I love being a nurse practitioner, the life of a mom (with 2 kids and a baby on the way), The Walking Dead (have you started season 8?) Miniature Pinchers and American Bullies.

Parting thoughts to you, the viewer: Don’t just admire the problem, offer a solution.
