What People Are Saying . . .
“As the parent of an autistic child, I often found myself after diagnosis, worried, fearful, and questioning myself. Am I doing enough? What programs or therapies do I choose? Worried and fearful of his future. I found Orchid House on Google, and got on the waitlist. Doing private therapies, and trying ABA, in the meantime. I eventually got the call that we had reached our turn on the waitlist. I have to say, I was again, worried and fearful. Is this the right move? Am I making the best decision for him, and his future? Within a couple weeks, my fear and worry subsided, and was met with, joy, happiness, and the feeling everything was going to be okay. He loved going!! And every single person loved on my boy. Held him when he cried, kept him safe when he melted down, clapped at his achievements, and was consistent at pushing him to be better, where he might fall short. He received ST and OT during the day with OH, and the therapist are second to none. They are amazing!! The OT takes opportunities to teach different strategies to help with sensory issues, and the ST keeps in contact about progress in sessions, and tools to help at home. As graduation from OH is coming up in the few months ahead, I find myself grateful for every single person who works there. For keeping my boy safe, happy, and teaching him all the things he has learned while there. His eloping has slowed, his vocabulary has grown, his receptive language has improved, and he is definitely more confident. He didn't just attend OH, he THRIVED there. To each and every person at OH who had a hand in my son's growth, THANK YOU!! I am eternally grateful for OH. I know without a doubt I absolutely made the right decision in choosing Orchid House!!”

“Words can’t express the gratitude that I have for Orchid House ever since my son started there. The change in his life has been nothing short of profound. The Orchid House is a godsend, and I am grateful for every second that my son was able to receive services there. The staff is amazing and the services are convenient and personalized. We all know how important early interventions are for our little ones and I’m so happy that my son was able to get the love and support from such an incredible place. My only regret is that is we didn’t enroll sooner. Thanks to everyone who helped shaped my son’s future we are forever grateful.”

"Orchid House offered our son a safe environment to learn and grow due to the small group setting and individual attention. Our son was shy but learned to find a strong voice and gain confidence in a group setting. He was encouraged and pushed to try hard things and he was able to overcome so much while in the program. He’s currently in the 2nd grade and still brings up his Orchid House nurses and friends frequently. Jacob had unique needs and the techs and nurses were able to help him succeed and grow in ways we could never imagine. We’re so thankful that we were able to find a place that believed in Jacob as much as we did and truly wanted nothing more than to see him succeed in life. He was able to learn valuable life skills and strengthen his communication and social skills. I truly believe that he got the best head start in life by being a part of the Orchid House program."
-Vanessa (Jacob's mom)
"Finding a place that truly understands the complexities of raising a special-needs child felt like an impossible task until we found Orchid House. As a medical daycare, they provide more than just supervision; they offer skilled pediatric nursing care and specialized therapies—including speech and occupational therapy -that was transformative for my daughter’s development. In their low-ratio classrooms, she wasn’t just a student with a diagnosis; she was a child who was finally receiving the individualized medical and emotional support she needs to thrive. Seeing her reach milestones we once thought were out of reach, gave us both a new sense of hope and a brighter path forward. Orchid House was just as vital for my own growth as it has been for my daughter’s. By providing a safe therapeutic environment during the day, they gave me the peace of mind to focus on my own life, whether that is working, attending school, or simply finding a moment to breathe. They have truly become our village, offering parent education and support that has empowered me to be the best advocate for my child that I still continue to use to this day! Because of their holistic approach to care, we are no longer just "getting by"—we are finally succeeding at life together."
